2007-05-06, Med Discovery was part of the Swiss presence at Biotechnology Industry Organization’s annual International Convention in Boston, May 6-9th.
Med Discovery was represented on the national Swiss Biotech pavilion in the exhibition hall, and CEO David Deperthes participated in the partnering meeting that ran in parallel at BIO 2007. The annual BIO Convention is the largest gathering of companies active in biotechnology worldwide, attracting more than 20,000 participants.
“Switzerland has one of the highest levels of biotech industry per capita. In this context we were flattered to be invited to be present in the BioALPs booth of the Swiss Biotech pavilion. In addition BIO is an excellent forum for meeting and partnering with other players in the biotech field, and we were able to make some very interesting contacts that will be useful as we progress our molecules into the pre-clinical and clinical phases” commented David Deperthes.
